Abstract

Hedwig Reicher in the role of Balkis, or the Queen of Sheba, one of a series of tableaux vivants showcasing famous female characters from history, accompanied by dialogue, music and dance, collectively titled "Daughters of dawn : A lyrical pageant or series of historic scenes for presentation with music and dancing." Dramatic dialog by Bliss Carman and Mary Perry King.
