Content: Printed on border: "Fine black straw. The brim is turning up and high in front; it diminishes in width at the sides, and rests on the hair at the back. A tuft of field and garden flowers--buttercups, daisies, roses, and heliotrope -- is arranged as a wreath over the forehead, while above the brim there is cordon of vervain, roses, and aquatic leaves. Loops of cerise Surah cover the front of the crown, which is surronded with a draperie of the same tied at the back under a tuft flowers." Written on border: "July 31, 1875."
