Heather Watts speaks with John Gruen about Peter Martins and his work Calcium light night (briefly); her background and training including at the School of American Ballet; the influence of Stanley Williams; meeting Erik Bruhn; her relationship with Bruhn; the relationship between Bruhn and Martins; Bruhn as a person; Bruhn's retirement; Bruhn's concern about Martins' and Watts' relationship; Martins as a dancer; more on Bruhn as a person and their relationship; her own dancing including an anecdote about George Balanchine and The four temperaments.
