Description
Sheet music cover illustration depicting a formal gathering in a long vaulted hall with three levels of galleries. Many of the women wear plumes in their hair, and a number of the men wear ermine-trimmed robes suggesting those worn by the British peerage. The four couples at center appear to be dancing a quadrille, a ballroom dance performed in a square formation.
