Description
Patti LuPone discusses her career as an actor and musical theater performer with journalist Kathy Henderson. She reminisces about her childhood music lessons and early days performing with her brothers, her studies at Juilliard, and subsequent theater experiences. She discusses her Broadway roles in Evita, Anything goes, Gypsy, and Sweeney Todd, and her dismissal from the London production of Sunset Boulevard. She also talks about her friendship with playwright David Mamet, and her recent work in television.
