Description
Original color costume and set designs for the theater production Greenwich Village Follies; a musical revue performed in two acts originally presented in a small Greenwich Village theatre but later moved to larger playhouses uptown. Editions were offered from 1919 through 1925 and again in 1928. The production is based on the book by John Murray Anderson, dialogue is by Thomas J. Gray, lyrics by John Murray Anderson and Arthur Swanstrom, music by A. Baldwin Sloane and costume designs by James Reynolds. A collection of costume sketches and set designs by Mark Mooring, Gilbert Adrian (Adrian), Henriette Dallett, James Reynolds, Herman Rosse, Charles LeMaire, Erté, Kiviat, Kivette, Franke, Alice V. O'Neill, Robert Ten Eyck Stevenson, Clifton & DeRex and Dallet McRae.
