Verso is currently inaccessible because the manuscript is pasted down at both its left and right sides onto the larger blank leaf to which it is mounted. In Volume I of: Walt Whitman. Holograph manuscript fragments assembled by Dr. Richard Maurice Bucke. Text published in Leaves of Grass and Other Writings, edited by Michael Moon (New York; London: W.W.
