Content: Printed on border: "Embroidered skirt, to wear with a thin black silk, white muslin, or cambric basque. They are often used for the open dressing-gowns so much in favor. This is of white cambric, very full and long, with a moderate hem running around the bottom. The front breadth is en tablier, or apron fashion, the apron being composed of alternate rows of very fine tucks and English embroidery insertion. The whole is edged by a row edging in scallops, to correspond."
