Content: Periodical clipping on verso: "St. Francis Dam after the catastrophe of March 13 Part of the Los Angeles water-supply system, the dam broke at both ends without warrning in the early morning, carrying death and destruction through San Francisquito Canyon and Santa Clara Valley. The central portion remained standing. Three hundred persons, perhaps more were drownde before the water spent itself."
