Sound quality is fair. The recording is marred by "tape hiss," but the speakers' voices are clear and easily intelligible.

Fernando Alonso speaks with Marian Horosko about ballet in Cuba including ballet schools in Cuba; the audition process for prospective students; the training program; touring; government support; audiences; lecture-demonstrations; Fidel Castro and his support of ballet; his background and political views; his vision for the future of ballet in Cuba.
