Interview with Burton Taylor conducted by John Gruen, as host, for broadcast on September 27, 1976 by radio station WNCN-FM, New York on its series The sound of dance. Streaming audio file (approximately one hour). [Begins abruptly.] John Gruen, as host, and Burton Taylor speak about his leaving the Joffrey Ballet; dancing with Carla Fracci [a recording of an excerpt of the music by Léo Delibes for the ballet Coppélia is played]; dancing as a free-lancer; his feelings about American Ballet Theatre; preparing for a role; more on dancing with Carla Fracci [a recording of an excerpt of the music by Alexander Glazunov for the ballet Raymonda is played]; dancing the "vision" pas de deux with Fracci in Raymonda; partnering; his marriage, to Diana Cartier; Gruen's closing remarks [closing remarks by unidentified speaker followed by a commercial, the news, and music; ends abruptly].
