Biographical/historical: Merce Cunningham's Events consist of a selection from his group and solo works performed to music and decor specially arranged for that event. Each event is performed only once, and not meant to be repeated. The Events performed Jan 6 and 7, 1998 both contain excerpts from Suite for five, Winterbranch, Scramble, and a sequence titled The run.
