Walter Terry introduces Robert Cohan, the Martha Graham Company, and Martha Graham as well as the topic: Graham as a person, in particular as viewed by her dancers. Robert Cohan speaks with Walter Terry about the powerful effect of Martha Graham's creative genius on her dancers; the Graham technique: how it developed and its virtuosity; Graham's innovations in decor and her use of costume; her characters' sexuality; her influence on the theater; the experience of dancing on stage with Graham.
