Other catalogs list the states differently.Content: Title from Loys Delteil and Harold Wright, Catalogue raisonne of the etchings of Charles Meryon.Content: Two prints bear inscriptions, possibly by the artist, DW10 in graphite and DW11 in ink.Content: Admission is granted through application to the Office of Special Collections.Content: Charles Meryon's earliest works include these experimental reproductive prints, mostly of animal or marine scenes, after Karel Dujardin, Philippe-Jacques de Loutherbourg, Adriaan van de Velde and Reinier Zeeman. Subjects include views of Haarlem, Musee du Louvre, Oceania, Pont-Neuf, Saint-Denis, the Seine and Vlissingen. Other subjects include asses, boats, cows, horses, sheep, swine, towers, watermills and villages.
