Content: Caption on back: "Technical Sergeant Willie Burditt, of Sealy, Texas, and Corporal Booker Ward, of Alto, Louisiana stroll along the promenade at Nice, former playground of millionaires which is now a favorite rest center for GIs [veterans of the U.S. armed forces] stationed in France, Germany and Italy; Burditt and Ward are assigned to the 3425 Quartermaster Truck Company, the only Negro unit stationed in Nice."
