Notes
Content: Printed on border: "The whole of the charming objects on this sheet are the work of M. Christesen, of Copenhagen, who has earned European fame for his work, principally copies and adaptations of Scandinavian productions, and who has always attracted great attention at the exhibitions to which he has contributed. His works are usually executed in fine gold, but without gems, and therefore not comparatively costly. His taste is admirable, as the beauty especially of the two charming pendants in the above group fully proves. Other admirable examples of his work will be found in these pages." Foxing on image.
