Content: Psyche (a personification of the human soul) and Cupid sit at right, enjoying the revelry of a marriage banquet attended by gods, goddesses, Muses, Graces, nymphs and other personages. Wine is being poured at right to be served to the guests, while musicians at left make ready to serenade the newly-married pair with lyre, pan-pipes and trumpet.
