Biographical/historical: After graduating from Fisk in 1888, William Edward Burghardt Du Bois became one of the greatest leaders in America and Abroad. Through many considered him an elitist, Du Bois utilized scholarship, activism, and creative works to address the problem of the 20th century which he called "the problem of the color line."
