Description
Excerpted from a classical music radio show, an announcement and commentaries on Leonard Bernstein's onetime flop "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" that is to be revived by the Indiana University Opera Theater at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. Robert Lantz (Bernstein's former agent), the host, Erik Haagensen (New York based playwright who directs the revival), and Alfred Bailey (a performer in the current production) scrutinize the plot, the music and the history of the musical that has undergone changes and revisions, and the current production.
