Description
Walter Terry's notes, recorded by Terry in June 1976, in New York City, on the spring seasons of American Ballet Theatre, Royal Danish Ballet (on tour in New York), Paul Taylor Dance Company, and New York City Ballet. Streaming audio file (approximately 13 minutes). Walter Terry records his notes regarding the spring seasons, respectively, of American Ballet Theatre, the Royal Danish Ballet [Kongelige Danske ballet; on tour in New York City]; the Paul Taylor Dance Company, and New York City Ballet. In particular, he comments on American Ballet Theatre's performances of Mary Skeapings' The sleeping beauty and the reasons he thinks the Royal Danish Ballet's choice of repertory was misguided.
