Leida Snow interviews Heidi Ettinger (married name Landesman), American theatre producer and set designer, who talks about the 1993 Broadway production of the musical "The red shoes" (a book by Marsha Norman, lyrics by Norman and Bob Merrill (credited as Paul Stryker) and music by Jule Styne) for which she created all set designs. She also compares the musical to the 1948 Powell and Pressburger's film that stage production is based on. Part 1 (10:59-13:30 minutes). Excerpt from the interview with unidentified young woman by the name of Roxanne, the remnant of another telephone conversation. Part 1 (13:31).
