Description
Bert Wheeler, a comedian in Broadway theatre, comedy films, and vaudeville who was well acquainted with Bobby Clark for 35 years, starts the interview with describing Fire Island which he recently visited, and then moves to the personality of his friend Clark and show business. Subjects include: the affiliation of actors with The Friars Club or Lambs Clubs and the origins and purpose of each, some episodes and experiences from his and Clark's professional life, popularity of parody, a few sketches with Clark, and the detriment to one's reputation for stealing material from fellow stand-up comedians.
