Description
Billy Taylor interviews American jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, band leader, and composer Woody Herman during an undated broadcast. Herman discusses his career as a jazz musician, a leader of various big bands, arranger, and educator; his concert tour to England, and his experiences performing in London. He also talks about the combination of religion and jazz, and the possibility of playing jazz at any church or any synagogue.
