Description
Shows progress of township surveys in eastern Dakota Territory. Includes about seventy-five townships, base line, standard parallels, hydrography and towns along the Big Sioux and Missouri Rivers. Shows military reserves and several Indian reserves in the vicinity of the Missouri River and Fort Randall. At head of title: (A). "Sen. Ex. Doc. No. I. 37th Cong. 2nd Sess." --top right margin.
