Description
Shows streets, some lot numbers, public spaces, water bodies. Oriented with north toward upper right, lake Erie at top of map. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Includes inset map, "Cleveland Out Lots Commonly Called Ten Acre Lots" with scale of chains. Includes engraved landscape illustration, "View of Bridge A as seen from B". Includes notes, "References" (key to places of interest), "Population of Cleveland" at intervals between 1825 and 1835, and ". . . number of vessels entered and cleared at the port of Cleveland with cargoes and their aggregate tonage from AD 1825 to August 10, 1835".
