Description
Bill Moran interviews Leida Snow on telephone. Snow covers various topics, such as the national impact of President Clinton's 1998 impeachment; reviews "Parade," the musical, with a book by Alfred Uhry and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, that was based on the 1913 trial of Jewish factory manager Leo Frank, who was accused and convicted of raping and murdering a thirteen-year-old employee, Mary Phagan, and aroused antisemitic tensions in Atlanta and the U.S. state of Georgia. She also talks about Nicole Kidman's leading role in the 1998 production of "The blue room," the play by David Hare, adapted from "Der Reigen" written by Arthur Schnitzler, and more usually known by the French translation "La ronde"; and others.
