Description
Part 1. Leida Snow records her review of "The capeman," the musical play written by Paul Simon and Derek Walcott, and based on the life of convicted murderer Salvador Agrón, that opened at the Marquis Theatre in 1998, for the Bill Moran show on radio BNN [Business News Network].Part 2. (00-4:44 minutes). Leida Snow records her review of "Triumph of love," a new musical based on the 1732 Pierre de Marivaux commedia dell'arte play "Le triomphe de l'amour"; "1776," a musical with music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards and a book by Peter Stone; "How I learned to drive," the play written by the American playwright Paula Vogel; and others.Part 2. (4:45-13:53 minutes). Excerpt from the WQXR radio program conducted by Leida Snow and [Larry Yang]. The excerpt includes radio commercials, weather forecast, announcements of various cultural events in New York City, and Sonata for keyboard in G major by Antonio Soler (10:02-13:53 minutes) (Gilbert Rowland, harpsichord).
